NERO D'AVOLA
It is a native grape of Sicily. On the island, you can find in various denominations in blends with other varieties. With Nero d'Avola, pure, we can produce wines of important structure, complexity; and long aging. These wines have a pleasant ruby red, more or less intense, depending on the types of the vineyard; and aromas with hints of plum and cherry. Often, they feel some spicy notes, and even red berry fruit, more or less mature. It is a structured wine; intense, harmonious and warm.
NERELLO MASCALESE
This grape is very common in Sicily and Calabria; grows mostly on the north side of Etna, in Catania and Messina provinces. In fact, it is the 80% -100% of the production of wine Etna Doc. Beside, it produces wines with ruby red color with garnet, basically tannins, with good structure and fragrant aroma, great qualities and suitable for aging.
GRILLO
IIt is a white grape variety present in Sicily, in particular in the area of Trapani. There are other varieties, but the most classified, are Catarratto white, and white shiny Catarratto. These wines are characterized by the freshness of aroma and flavor; with hints of white flowers but also fruity. On the palate is dry and fruity, structured, without this affects their aging potential. Vinified pure, has a straw yellow color tending to golden. And for its herbal nuances, reminds us of the Sauvignon Blanc.

CATARRATO
It has particular importance in the production of Marsala DOC; and it is one of the most used varieties in Sicily, often with Inzolia and Catarratto. These grapes have the vocation, unusual for a white wine, to be particularly susceptible to aging. This grape produces white wines fresh and fragrant, with notes of dried vegetable, such as green tea, and floral notes. It keeps a pleasant freshness that combined with good alcohol makes it a wine to be drunk young but with good potential for longevity. It is superior to all the Sicilian white wines, except those of Etna.
