Wine Regions
In all Italian territory, from one end to another, the grapes are grown. Therefore, it really is a challenge and a pleasure, to know the great diversity of its wines. Italy is not only the largest producer of wines in the world but also is the country that offers more varieties and different brands. Each region is faithful to its viticultural traditions and tends to promote their own denominations and native grapes. There are more than two hundred officers growing areas and about two million producers.
Although Italy is the largest producer of wine in the world, many of its excellent wines have not yet had a well-deserved international recognition because the vast majority of these wines are produced from native grapes, or other grapes that are not collected outside of Italy, so their names are not familiar to consumers. Hence the importance of promoting awareness of these grapes with which these wines are produced and which determine their high quality and uniqueness in the world of wine.
